Shadow Hills Golf Memberships
I. Categories
A. Family Membership--$150 per month
(member, spouse/significant other and dependents to age 22)
B. Single Membership--$130 per month
(One member only. Any spouse/significant other or dependents who wish to use the facility must pay applicable guest fees.)
C. Social Membership--$55 per month
(member and spouse/ significant other and dependents up to age 22)
II. Levels
A. Non-Equity Membership—Family and Single
(Any member who does not hold a share of SHGC, but pays monthly dues)
Amenities and Services
1. Use of the entire clubhouse and pool facilities at no extra cost (rental of banquet room or pool will be an extra fee)
2. Lease of individual lockers in the men’s or women’s locker rooms
3. Annual lease of SHGC golf carts at a rate of $800/year payable in quarterly installments, starting with membership date (Note—only equity members may have private carts except for those members who already have had private carts and are grandfathered in by Mar. 1.)
4. .Preferential tee –time reservations
5. Right to become immediate equity member with an upfront equity membership payment
6. No voting privileges or right to serve on the Board of Directors
B. Equity Membership—Family and Single
(Any member who holds one or more shares of SHGC and pays monthly dues)
Amenities and Services
1. Use of the entire clubhouse and pool facilities at no extra cost (rental of
banquet room or pool will be an extra fee)
2. Lease of individual lockers in the men’s or women’s locker rooms
3. Annual lease of SHGC golf carts at a reduced rate of $750/year payable in quarterly installments, starting with membership date
4. Ownership of private carts with a cart space rental of $445/year for an electric cart and $385/year for a gas-operated cart billed in two installments
5. Preferential seven day in advance tee time reservations
6. Right to vote on club proposals and to serve on the Board of Directors
7. Right to transfer and/or sell equity membership
8. Profit-sharing rights once the entire mortgage debt has been retired
Note:
An equity membership structure will be prepared for the memberships’ review
during the early part of 2009. The amenities may be modified at a later date
based on the input of the equity members.
C. Social membership
Privileges include all amenities of the club except for golf.
Memberships require a 12 month agreement. First month’s dues must be paid in advance at the time of application. Subsequent months will be billed on your credit card on the first of each month .. Memberships renew automatically after 12 months unless a written letter of resignation has been received. (Equity members are exempt from this agreement.) .
All members are advised to get a copy of the SHGC Handbook which outlines all the rules and regulations of the club. The Directors retain the right to sanction or terminate the membership of anyone who violates these rules and regulations.
This contract will remain in effect for 12 months. In February of 2010 the Directors will review the financial situation of the club and make any adjustments they feel they need to make before your renewal date is up.
