Whatever happened to the America that helped to save the world………..twice? What happened to the ingenuity and resourceful nature of the "greatest country on earth?" It has become drunk with past glory and power, a virtual "new age Rome" ready to fall again. Full of corruption and greed, we have become a sick and polluted society run by sleazy politicians and corporate pirates. So much for the "bright and shining light" we used to exemplify to the world.

The newest virus circulating is the "UPS Delivery Failure." You may receive an email from UPS Packet Service along with a packet number. NOTE: The word packet is misspelled on this line. It will say that they were unable to deliver a package sent to you on such and such a date. It then asks you to print out the invoice copy attached.

PASS ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW
Telephone calls are being made from individuals identifying themselves as an AT&T Service Technician (could also be Telus) who is conducting a test on the telephone lines. He stated that to complete the test I should touch nine(9), zero(0), the pound sign (#), and then hang
up.

| STROKE: Remember the 1st three letters.... S.T.R. |
STROKE IDENTIFICATION:
During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) ....she said she had just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes.
They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food. While she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening.
Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00 pm Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ . Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don't die.... they end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.

After four years of work The Cañon City Queen Anne Tea House, 813 Macon Avenue, and Historical Van Tours, owned by Al and Linda Ballard has opened.
“From the time we decided to move to Cañon City we had a plan and that plan was to serve the community with a place of beauty, peace and sense of order. The Tea House has been a dream of my wife, Linda, and it has been my desire to see her dream come true,” Al Ballard.
