Dr. Gerald Shiner and Dr. Robert Harber established Fremont Veterinary Hospital in 1951. In November of 2000 we moved to our new facility located at 2418 Florence Street which includes 3 veterinarian practices with 24-hour emergency service.
The new hospital includes a fairly large waiting area, four exam rooms and a full in-house lab. We are equivalent to a human hospital in so far as how we can handle and treat emergencies and sick animals. We provide a full range of medicine, surgery and preventive health care.
Fremont Veterinary Hospital offers state-of-the-art equipment, which includes an ultrasound, high tech x-ray machine and laser surgery for pets with a variety of clinical conditions. We have extensive dental capabilities including dental x-ray and tooth bonding.
Our doctors have trained extensively in the use of the laser and can discuss it with you as an option for your pet.
